mansions and unwelcome floors.

i spent last weekend in nyc. left montreal way later than we had wanted to. the border took a long time but we got through no problem. my car decided to stop working right after albany but then decided to start working again aout 5 minutes later. definitely the weirdest thing a vehicle has done to me. got to nyc at around 10. watched STREETS practice and started destroying a 30 pack. went and ate the best pizza ive ever had in my life and then went to a mansion party which was HIPSTER CENTRAL. definitely an odd vibe at the party, in the end we stayed on the floor. me and stef slept in a pretty big closet. woke up and pretty much got kicked out. saturday we walked around williamsburg and went to a rad music store. i bought a ludwig super sensitive snare which rules so much. the venue we played at was really awesome. it was the basement of a cafe called the cake shop. the show fucking ruled, it was one giant party. imagine 100-150 people just partying while youre playing. so fucking awesome. STREETS ruled as well, people went apeshit, especially scott. chevy's farts were incredibly putrid all weekend.

barn burner, adult crash free show at the blackdot friday. bring beer, bring party.

the city of giant holes.

ive never seen a city with so many pot-holes. and not just little holes, big fucking ones that span to lanes that you cant avoid. its fucking ridiculous. well my car finally fell victim to one, and i had to get a new tire. oh well, life goes on.

new york city this weekend will be a blast. hopefully i will find a garmin gps, for cheap as well as a new ipod and a ton of new vans. im also happy that i can finally take stef to new york.

ive never been so happy for rain in my life. it means this snow will start to go away, ive had enough of winter, but im sure everyone feels the same way so i wont go on a rant.

this summer i will try to do more of these things...

-biking
-swimming
-being outside
-mind melting drugs
-more rollercoasters
-more camping
-more waterslides

that seems about right.

another day

its been awhile.

unfortunately, one of my best friends has gone on to whatever is out there. we got to spend 15 awesome years together. he was a funny guy. when i was a little boy he knew at what time i would be coming home from school at and would lick my tears if i was sad. im going to miss him a lot, i already do. its weird to come home sometimes to an empty house.

see you later, max.
