i am santa

the holidays are in full swing. i was summoned to dress up as santa yesterday for my little cousins. pictures to follow perhaps. i spilled beer on my mom's head and on the dog.

got some really cool gifts this year. stef got me a beer dispensing fridge and a silk screen kit and a very nice book about old time hockey. my parents got me a hard cymbal case, a power amp for my record player, and a bunch of other odds and ends.

i played yahtzee for the first time at marc's house. i like that game.

fuck, its been awhile.

dan's birthday kegger was the most raging show ive ever played. attempted to do a beer bong while playing. it wasnt a success. carnage the whole time, these black dot shows are getting more and more rowdy.

the release date for the new black ships record "low" has been pushed back to february. its not a bad thing in the end.

this rain is so dumb, what the fuck.

my foot is getting better. first thing im going to do wen im better is go play hockey.

party week is fast approaching.

heres a little story. on friday stef had her work christmas party. an evening spent with an open bar left her dazed and confused, among other things. she called me and i could barley understand anything she was saying. i still believe that something was slipped into her drink. anyways, me and chevy went to get her, only to find her slumped in a snowbank. while helping her up st-laurent, a homeless man asked us if we had any change. i said no, but stef decided she didnt like this certainly stinky man, so she donkey kicked him. his only reply was "i deserved that." i couldnt believe it. i apologized to the man and he wished me good luck.

then as we're lumbering up the street, this random dude askes us if we want to "hang out". stef was gracious enough to reply with a "FUCKKKK OFFFFFFFFF". the dude looked confused, then as we're walking away, he chimes in a very perplexed "fuck you".

saturday was the mon oeil fest. i went well. the black dot is becoming one of my favourite places to play. it always seems to have a good atmosphere. keg party there on friday for dan's birthday.
whoever slashed the tire of the van is a fucking piece of shit.

late bloomer

it seems as though almost every weekend in the new year is a busy one for me. i have a feeling the new year is going to be all over the place. im interested in seeing how its going to unfold.

the forensics song im listening to right now is really really garbage. oh i just realized its a cover.

EVERYONE SHOULD LISTEN TO THE NEW FIGHT AMP SONG. these dudes are some friends of mine from south jersey and their new song fucking rips me a new asshole every time i listen to it. im looking into seeing if they would be interested in coming up to play here. those dudes also like to drink shitty beer and whiskey, something that i think my whole group of friends like to do as well.

i got a nice big shipment of records today. lots of new stuff to listen to. now all i need is a laptop or something in my room...

at some point i have to dig out the van which is completely snowed in. i believe that will happen on saturday...

im excited to see how the black ships 7" comes out. its cool that someone actually wants to put it out for us.

first big storm of the year. lots of snow, lots of cars in ditches. drove marc around all day, all the way out to mascouche. not that bad of a drive, people make such a big deal out of a snowstorm. parking downtown is a bitch though.

as soon as my foot is going to be better im going to have a sweet part time job. lets just say ill be in the same breathren as youppi.

the cold

apparently there is supposed to be a huge snowstorm tonight and tomorrow. i cant wait to drive in that. im supposed to drive marc around. as sarcastic as that sounds, i actually do like driving in snow. contrary to most other people in this city, it doesnt make me nervous. it sucks that my handbrake is broken or i would be having barrels of fun tomorrow.

is it just me or are rap "performers" really running out of subject matter for their videos? because not every shawty is a ten. that has to be the most fucking stupid video ive ever seen. or that will.i.am "got it from my momma". way to make non self respecting girls feel like shit.

i hope that kyle is going to make it to montreal. get ready for shit to hit the fan when he is here. oh boy, im going to get punched in the face again.

saturday i ate a a totally awesome buffet. marc ate a frog, i ate 4 plates of food and unfortunetaly adam didnt puke in the parking lot. for some reason there was a dude eating with his parka on, mitts, tuque and goggles/weirdo glasses on that made him look like a fly. its fucking cold already but not that cold. kyle we're going to go.

we made some big 10 cup teams last night. hopefully my foot will get better and everything will go according to plan. i cant wait to run some people through the boards.
